Cookies and similar technologies in Contact+

Version 2026-11-05, effective from 5 November 2026

This English version is a translation; the Slovak version is binding.

Article 1 — Who we are and what this page covers

The Contact+ service is operated by RESINOS & GO UP SYSTEMS INC., 228 Park Ave S #86399, New York, NY 10003, USA, EIN 981914999, NYBE ID 265604920 (hereinafter “we”). Contact: e-mail quick@plus.contact, telephone +421 910 468 787. Our representative in the Union under Article 27 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and our legal representative under Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (DSA) is ERIOS, s.r.o., IČO 29789770, Rybná 716/24, Staré Město, 110 00 Praha 1, Czech Republic; documents for it may also be sent to quick@plus.contact.

This page explains what we store in your browser and what we read from it (cookies, local storage and the browser database), which content your browser loads from other servers, and how opens and clicks are measured in e-mails sent through Contact+. It covers:

How we process personal data and what rights you have is described in the Privacy Policy at https://plus.contact/en/ochrana-udajov. Whom we pass data to is listed in the List of Processors at https://plus.contact/en/spracovatelia.

Article 2 — In brief

  • We do not use analytics or advertising cookies, social network pixels or third-party tools for measuring traffic or tracking. This applies to both the website and the application.
  • The website plus.contact does not set cookies and stores nothing in your browser's storage.
  • The application stores only what it needs for your login and its protection, for remembering choices you have made yourself (for example language or display), and for keeping your work in progress.
  • For that reason we do not ask you for consent to cookies and do not display a consent bar.
  • Some previews and samples in the application, especially in the Video Editor, are loaded by your browser directly from the servers of other providers. Those servers see the IP address of your connection and may store their own cookies in your browser (Article 8).
  • A separate matter is the measurement of opens and clicks in e-mails that our customers send through Contact+. It is explained in Article 10.

Article 3 — What cookies are and why we do not ask for consent

A cookie is a small piece of text data that a website stores in your browser; the browser then sends it back to the same website with subsequent requests. Local storage (localStorage), session storage (sessionStorage) and the browser database (IndexedDB) work in a similar way. They keep the data of one website directly on your device and do not send it anywhere by themselves. The browser deletes session storage when you close the tab.

Under Section 109(8) of Act No. 452/2021 Coll. on Electronic Communications (zákon č. 452/2021 Z. z. o elektronických komunikáciách) and Article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC on privacy and electronic communications, data may be stored on your device or read from it only with your consent. Consent is not required for storage whose sole purpose is the transmission of a message over a network, or which is strictly necessary to provide a service you have explicitly requested. Similar rules apply under the same directive in all states of the Union.

The website plus.contact stores nothing in your browser's storage (Article 4). The Contact+ application stores in it only data that serves your login and its protection, remembers a choice you have made yourself, or keeps your work in progress. We use none of it for measuring traffic, for advertising or for building profiles. For that reason we do not ask you for consent. Cookies that the servers of other providers may store are described in Article 8.

If we wanted to start using a cookie or storage that is not strictly necessary to provide the service, we would first ask you for consent and change this page.

Article 4 — The website plus.contact

The website plus.contact sets no cookie, stores nothing in browser storage and runs no scripts. It loads fonts and images only from our server and contains no content of other providers, such as embedded videos, maps or social network buttons. The security settings of the site (Content Security Policy) do not even allow the browser to run a script or load content from another server.

The language of the website is determined by the page address, for example https://plus.contact/sk or https://plus.contact/en. When you open an address without a language, the website redirects you according to the language set in your browser and stores nothing in doing so.

Login and registration take place in the application at https://app.plus.contact.

Article 5 — Cookies of the application app.plus.contact

The application sets only the following three cookies of its own. All of them belong exclusively to the address app.plus.contact: the browser does not send them to the website plus.contact, to the address link.plus.contact or to anyone else. They contain neither your name nor your e-mail address.

itc_kontakty_relacia

  • Who sets it: the application, when you log in with a password or via Google, and after completing a registration that logs you in directly.
  • Purpose: keeps you logged in. It contains a random code; on the server we store only its fingerprint, not the code itself.
  • Validity: 30 days from login, so that you do not have to log in again after closing the browser. If you do not want this, log out using the Log out button: we delete the cookie and invalidate the login on the server as well.
  • Protection: the browser sends it only over an encrypted connection and scripts on the page cannot read it. With requests from another website the browser sends it only on a normal transition into the application, for example by clicking a link, not with forms submitted by the POST method or with background requests.
  • Necessary: yes. Without it you cannot log in to the application.

itc_kontakty_google

  • Who sets it: the application, only when you click on login via Google (if this option is enabled in the application).
  • Purpose: protects login via Google against forgery. It carries one-time verification values by which the application, after returning from Google, verifies that the login was started in your browser.
  • Validity: 10 minutes; we delete it after you return from Google. The browser sends it only to the Google login address in the application.
  • Necessary: yes, for login via Google.

jazyk

  • Who sets it: the application, only when you choose a language in the top bar of the application or of its public interface demo.
  • Purpose: remembers the chosen language. It contains only the language code, for example “en”.
  • Validity: 1 year from the last language choice.
  • Protection: the browser sends it only over an encrypted connection.
  • Necessary: yes, it serves only to fulfil a choice you have made yourself. Without it the interface is displayed in Slovak.

The application sets no other cookies.

Article 6 — Browser storage in the application

The application stores the following data in the browser's local storage. It serves only so that the application in this browser keeps your work in progress and the choices you have made in it yourself, and it is not sent anywhere by itself. It remains there until the application overwrites or deletes it, or until you clear the site data of app.plus.contact (Article 12):

  • kp:rozpisany-prispevok — a new social network post in progress (text, selected networks, date, note, texts for the individual networks and details of a photo selected from the library), so that it is not lost when the tab is closed or the browser crashes. An uploaded file is not stored. The application offers to restore the post for 14 days from the last save. It is deleted when you save the post or discard the post in progress; otherwise it remains in the browser even after logging out.
  • kalendar:posledny-pohlad — the last view and filters in the Posts section.
  • sprievodca-kampane-velky — whether you have enlarged the campaign wizard window.
  • kontakt-plus:uvod-videny — that you have already seen the introductory guide.

In session storage, which the browser deletes after the tab is closed, the application stores:

  • kp:hlas-relacia — the identifier of a conversation with voice control. The application sends it together with the next command so that it can continue the conversation.
  • kp:navrh-textu:… (the colon is followed by the identifier of a video) — a text suggestion for the video from artificial intelligence, so that it does not have to be generated again when the page is refreshed.

The application uses neither a service worker nor the Cache Storage cache.

Article 7 — Video Editor

The Video Editor at https://app.plus.contact/strizna/ edits videos directly in your browser. So that your work is not lost, it stores it in the browser database (IndexedDB):

  • strizna-autosave — the video project in progress, including inserted videos, music, logo, texts, subtitles and settings, as well as a finished video set aside for download and the state of an avatar video generation in progress. Apart from the currently open video, it keeps the projects of at most the four most recently opened videos; it deletes the projects of older videos by itself when another one is opened. A project opened without a video remains until you delete it.
  • video-saulin-lib — the library of files you add to the Video Editor.
  • video-saulin-templates — saved projects, templates and visual identity (brand kit).

It stores the Video Editor settings in local storage under names beginning with strizna-. These include, for example, the dictionary of transcription and pronunciation corrections, custom colours, the default template, the height of tracks on the timeline, export and subtitle options, hiding of the guide and the avatar script in progress. In session storage it stores two technical values, strizna-upd and strizna-sw-cleaned, which ensure that a new version of the editor loads safely.

This data remains on your device. It is sent to our server only when you use a function that needs it, for example when you send a finished video to Contact+ or have subtitles generated. Independently of that, when an error occurs, the Video Editor sends the text of the error, its own version and the browser type to our server, at most ten reports per opening of the editor; none of this is stored in browser storage. The Video Editor does not use a service worker; on start-up it clears the Cache Storage cache if anything remained in it from its older versions.

The fonts you use in the Video Editor are loaded from our server; system fonts, for example Arial or Georgia, are taken by the editor directly from your device. The browser contacts neither Google Fonts nor any other external server in doing so.

Automatic face framing and background removal are computed by the Video Editor directly in your browser. It loads the program and the models for this from our server; the video does not leave your device in the process and nothing is sent to other providers.

Article 8 — Content from other servers

The website plus.contact loads everything from our server. So does the application, with the exceptions listed below. In those cases your browser requests the content directly from another server. That server, like any website, sees the IP address of your connection and basic details about your browser, may store its own cookies in your browser and is governed by the policies of its operator. For example, when a preview is loaded, the image servers of Pexels and Pixabay store technical cookies of the Cloudflare service, which protects them against attacks, such as __cf_bm for 30 minutes or _cfuvid until the browser is closed. We do not set or read these cookies and have no access to them; whether the browser stores them depends on how it is configured for third-party cookies. These servers do not receive cookies from Contact+.

  • Avatar videos: previews of characters and voice samples from the Argil service (Argil, Inc., USA), which creates avatar videos for us, are loaded directly from the addresses that the Argil service provides to us (this may also be the storage of its supplier). This also applies to the small photo in the side menu if your account has such a character.
  • Footage in the Video Editor: previews of footage search results are loaded from the servers of Pexels, Pixabay and Vimeo (Vimeo hosts the previews of some footage from Pixabay).
  • Music and sounds in the Video Editor: when you play a sample of a track or sound, it is played directly from the servers of Jamendo or Freesound.
  • Dictation and voice control: these first use your browser's speech recognition. The browser may send the audio to its manufacturer (for example Chrome to Google) under that manufacturer's terms.

Article 9 — Websites of other providers

Apart from ordinary links that you click yourself (for example to a published post on a social network or to a developer page when connecting an account), the application redirects you to the websites of other providers only in the following cases, and only when you choose to do so yourself:

  • login via Google on Google's pages (accounts.google.com);
  • connecting Facebook and Instagram on Meta's pages (facebook.com);
  • payment on the pages of Stripe when you order a paid plan or purchase additional AI credits or avatar videos, and management of your subscription and payment card on Stripe's pages when you open it in the Plans section.

These websites use their own cookies under their own policies and we have no access to them. We do not embed the scripts of these or any other providers in our pages.

Article 10 — Measurement of opens and clicks in e-mails sent by businesses

Our customers send e-mail campaigns and individual e-mails through Contact+ from their own e-mail mailboxes. The business that sent you such an e-mail is hereinafter called the “sender”. If you have received an e-mail from it, this Article applies to you.

Replies that the sender writes in Contact+ Mail to your message are personal e-mails. They contain no tracking image, no redirected links and no footer with an unsubscribe link. If you have unsubscribed, the sender will not send you even a reply through Contact+.

How the measurement works. Into every campaign e-mail and every individual e-mail that the sender sends outside a campaign (except replies from Mail), the service inserts:

  • an invisible image of 1 × 1 pixel, which, when the e-mail is displayed, is loaded from the address https://link.plus.contact/o together with the unique code of this e-mail;
  • link redirection: links in the text of the e-mail first lead to the address https://link.plus.contact/k, which records the click and immediately sends you on to the original address.

The unsubscribe link, links in the sender's signature, links in the standard e-mail footer added by the service (the sender's privacy policy and the source from which it has your address) and links whose text shows the web address itself lead directly, without redirection and without measurement. To links in the text of the e-mail (except the unsubscribe link) the service adds the parameters utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign (source, the label “email” and the campaign label) if the link does not have them yet, so that the sender can see on its website that the visit came from the e-mail. These parameters are the same for all recipients of the campaign and do not identify you.

What is recorded. For every e-mail sent, the service records:

  • the time of the first and last open and the number of opens;
  • the time of the first click and the number of clicks;
  • the address of the link you clicked last.

A click also marks the e-mail as opened, even if the image did not load. The data is attached to the e-mail that the sender sent to your address, so the sender can see whether and when you opened its e-mail and which link you clicked. The service does not record your IP address, device, browser or location with the e-mail record. Neither the image nor the redirection sets any cookie for you or reads any. The service does not record the loading of other images in the e-mail, for example a logo or a photo in the signature.

The measurement is not exact. Some e-mail programs block images, others load them automatically or through their own servers, so an open may be recorded even though you did not read the e-mail, or, conversely, not recorded.

What the data is used for. The sender sees it in the campaign statistics, in the Overview, in the Evaluation (its CSV export contains totals only) and in the contact's activity overview. The owner of the sender's business also receives it in the export of all of the business's data. The sender may use it to select whom to send further e-mails to, for example to leave out recipients who opened the e-mail or clicked a link. The service also uses it to decide whether to resend the same step after a delivery failure: an e-mail that was opened or clicked is not sent again. We do not use it for our own purposes.

Who is responsible for the measurement. The measurement is currently part of every campaign e-mail and every individual e-mail that the sender sends through Contact+ (except replies from Mail), and the sender cannot switch it off. The controller of your personal data, including data on opens and clicks, is the sender. You can see who that is in the sender details of the e-mail; its identification details and a link to its privacy policy are usually in the footer of the e-mail. We process this data on its behalf as a processor under the Data Processing Agreement, which is Annex 2 to our Terms and Conditions at https://plus.contact/en/podmienky. The sender, as controller, is responsible for ensuring that the measurement complies with the law, in particular for informing you about it and for having your consent where the law requires it.

How to limit or stop the measurement.

  • Unsubscribing: every campaign e-mail and every individual e-mail contains an unsubscribe link (in the standard footer with the text “Do not send further e-mails”), and e-mail programs that support it also offer one-click unsubscribe. After unsubscribing, the sender will not send you further e-mails through Contact+. Unsubscribing does not, however, stop the measurement in e-mails you already have in your mailbox.
  • Images: if you turn off automatic image loading in your e-mail program, opens are not recorded, including in e-mails you already have.
  • Clicks: before you click, your e-mail program usually shows you the address of the link. If it begins with https://link.plus.contact/k, the click will be recorded; you cannot read the destination address directly from it. If you do not want this, do not click the link and search for or open the sender's website yourself. Links whose text shows the web address itself lead directly and clicking them is not recorded.
  • Your rights: if you want the sender to correct or delete data about you, or you want to exercise another right, contact the sender. If you write to us at quick@plus.contact, we will forward your request to the sender without undue delay and let you know.

How long the data is kept. Data on opens and clicks remains with the record of the sent e-mail without time limit, until the sender's business is deleted from the service or until the sender asks us to delete it. Mere non-use of the service does not delete it, and the service currently has no shorter period for its automatic deletion. Records of campaigns from which e-mails were sent are not deleted, so that the unsubscribe link keeps working. If the sender cancels its business, they are deleted together with the rest of its data after the 30-day period for downloading data has expired. They disappear from database backups within 3 weeks at the latest. We delete the data of an individual person sooner if the sender asks us to, without undue delay and within 14 days of the request at the latest; we keep only the unsubscribe record so that the person's objection continues to apply.

E-mails from us. Service e-mails that we send as the operator of the service (registration verification, password reset, invitations to a business, order confirmations and notifications from the service) contain neither a tracking image nor redirected links. If we were to send you our own commercial e-mail through Contact+, for example an offer of the service, this Article applies to it in the same way, with the difference that we are both its sender and the controller of the measurement data.

Article 11 — Public pages at link.plus.contact

The pages at the address https://link.plus.contact, that is, unsubscribing from e-mails, approval of a campaign step or a video by a colleague, the public page of a post to which a business's advertisement leads, and image and video files, do not set cookies and store nothing in browser storage. The login cookie from the application is not sent to this address.

Article 12 — How to view and delete cookies and site data

You can view and delete cookies and other site data at any time in your browser settings, for example as follows:

  • Chrome and Edge on a computer: click the icon to the left of the page address, open the site settings or cookies and site data, and delete the data. The data of all sites can be found in the browser settings in the privacy section.
  • Firefox: click the lock icon to the left of the address and choose to clear cookies and site data.
  • Safari on a Mac: Safari › Settings › Privacy › Manage Website Data.
  • Safari on an iPhone and iPad: Settings › Safari (in newer versions of the system Settings › Apps › Safari) › Advanced › Website Data.
  • Chrome on an Android phone: the three-dot menu › Settings › Site settings › All sites, where you select the site and delete its data.

The names of the items may differ depending on the browser version; the exact procedure can be found in your browser's help.

What this means for Contact+:

  • Deleting cookies for app.plus.contact logs you out.
  • Clearing the site data of app.plus.contact also deletes the post in progress and the projects, library, templates and settings of the Video Editor. They cannot be restored; videos you have already sent to Contact+ remain in the service.
  • If you block cookies for app.plus.contact, login will not work. Contact+ itself does not set third-party cookies. If you block them in your browser, the application continues to work and the servers listed in Article 8 will not store their own cookies on your device.
  • With the website plus.contact and the address link.plus.contact there is nothing to delete apart from the ordinary cache; they do not set cookies and store nothing in browser storage.
  • The browser also normally stores copies of pages and images in its cache. You delete them by choosing to clear cached images and files. The browser also remembers for one year that it may open our addresses only over an encrypted connection (HSTS); this record contains no data about you.

The Log out button in the application deletes the login cookie and invalidates the login on the server as well. Data in local storage and the browser database, for example a post in progress or Video Editor projects, remains after logging out, and the next person who opens the application in the same browser may see it. If you work on a shared computer, always log out after your work and clear the site data of app.plus.contact, or use a private browser window.

Article 13 — Changes and questions

When we change this page, we will publish the new version at the same address, https://plus.contact/en/cookies, with a new version designation and effective date. If a change were to mean a cookie or storage that is not strictly necessary, we would first ask you for consent.

Send questions about cookies and about measurement in e-mails to us at quick@plus.contact. How to exercise your rights under the GDPR and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority is described in the Privacy Policy at https://plus.contact/en/ochrana-udajov.
